Definitions and Purpose
The website www.lugarlanar.com (“Site”) and the brand “Lugar Lanar” (European Union trademark no. 019010642) are owned by Patrícia Alexandra Aguiar dos Santos and operated in cooperation with Cooperativa Integral Minga, C.R.L., registered under tax identification number (NIPC) 213545603 and headquartered at Rua da Ruinha, no. 34, 7050-087 Montemor-o-Novo, hereinafter referred to as “Lugar Lanar.”
These General Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions for Users, and the Privacy and Cookies Policy collectively form an integral and indivisible set of Terms and Conditions (T&C) that govern access to and use of the Site. They apply to all Visitors, Sellers, Trainers, and Users of the Site, as well as to any use, operations, offers, proposals, or transactions conducted through the Site.
Browsing and using the Site, transmitting information, promoting offers for goods or services, and conducting transactions through the Site imply acceptance of the T&C, as well as other instruments regulating the relationships between Lugar Lanar and its Sellers, Trainers, and Users, as applicable.

Services Offered and Recipients
Lugar Lanar offers, through the Site, mediation services for the sale of wool products or others that fall within its project scope (“Articles”) and training services within the same scope (“Training”), collectively referred to as “Services.”
The recipients of the Services are as follows:
- “Sellers”: Individuals or entities who, in their own name and on their own behalf, in partnership and under the curation of Lugar Lanar, sell their articles to Site Users under a marketplace service agreement entered into with Lugar Lanar;
- “Trainers”: Individuals or entities who, in their own name and on their own behalf, in partnership and under the curation of Lugar Lanar, design, develop, and provide training courses to Site Users under a training service agreement entered into with Lugar Lanar;
- “Users”: Individuals or entities who, through the Site, wish to purchase articles offered by Sellers or access training provided by Trainers.
The Services provided by Lugar Lanar include assistance to Sellers, Trainers, and Users in case of questions or complaints.
Browsing the Site by Sellers, Trainers, and Users, as well as by third parties who are not Sellers, Trainers, or Users (“Visitors”), implies unconditional acceptance of the T&C. Visitors may browse the Site without using the Services.

User Registration
To use the Services, Users must register with Lugar Lanar and provide the data necessary for the provision of the Services, including their email address, tax identification number, telephone contact, and postal address. Users must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information. User registration is free and does not imply an obligation to perform any other operation on the Site. To register and perform any operation on the Site, Users must be of legal age.
Users must inform Lugar Lanar of any unauthorized or potentially unauthorized use of their name, identification, or credentials immediately upon becoming aware of such events or possibilities. Users are responsible for compensating Lugar Lanar for any damage, loss, or expense resulting from the use of their data by third parties with their knowledge, authorization, or tolerance.
Lugar Lanar may, at any time, request documentation from Users to verify their identity and address, even after ceasing to use the Site or Services.

Image Rights
By accepting the T&C, Sellers, Trainers, and Users authorize Lugar Lanar to collect and use their images when necessary for the provision of Services.
Sellers, Trainers, and Users guarantee that the images they use or provide within the scope of the Services do not infringe on the image rights or other personality rights of third parties.

Use of the Site and Responsibility of Lugar Lanar
It is the responsibility of Sellers, Trainers, and Users to ensure that all their actions and content provided on the Site comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual provisions, including the T&C.
Lugar Lanar disclaims all liability for any direct or indirect, current or future losses or damages resulting from the activity of Sellers, Trainers, and Users on the Site, such as, but not limited to, loss of purchasing or selling opportunities, loss of profits, business activity, clientele, data loss, reputational damage, contractual obligations breach caused by Users’ actions or those acting on their behalf, or damages resulting from force majeure events.
Lugar Lanar is not responsible for any content present or published on third-party websites accessible through the Site. It is the responsibility of Sellers, Trainers, and Users holding intellectual property rights over any content presented on third-party websites to defend their rights, including contacting the administrator of such websites and requesting the removal of the content in question.
Lugar Lanar does not assume or guarantee any liability for losses or damages resulting from the transmission of computer viruses, malware, or any other program or file designed for illicit purposes, including damage caused by downloading content from the Site or its server. Sellers, Trainers, and Users are responsible for safeguarding their equipment against the risks of internet and electronic communication usage, such as installing antivirus or other protective programs.

Content from Sellers, Trainers, and Users
All data created and published by Sellers, Trainers, and Users that do not belong to Lugar Lanar, whether created with or without Lugar Lanar’s involvement, are considered “Content from Sellers, Trainers, and Users.”
Sellers, Trainers, and Users are not allowed to use content from others, including downloading, modifying, altering, transmitting, publishing, or disseminating it in violation of intellectual property rights.
By publishing or sharing content, Sellers, Trainers, and Users authorize Lugar Lanar and any other authorized persons to:
- Fix, store, process, reproduce, display, publish, transmit, disseminate, and exploit any User Content nationally and internationally for the duration of legal or contractual rights over such content, regardless of its form or usage medium, including the Site, institutional documents, and communications from Lugar Lanar;
- Alter representations, photographs, and illustrations of Articles and Services, such as cropping, resizing, or removing backgrounds.
Sellers, Trainers, and Users are solely responsible for their content, which may not reflect Lugar Lanar’s opinions or principles.
Lugar Lanar reserves the right to remove any content from Sellers, Trainers, and Users at its discretion, especially if it violates the T&C.

Good Conduct Rules
Sellers, Trainers, and Users commit to using the Site and its functionalities in good faith, respecting the law, civility, and reasonableness. They must not infringe Lugar Lanar’s or third-party rights or share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content.
Failure to comply may result in warnings, account suspension, or permanent termination of access to the Services and the Site.

Personal Data
Sellers, Trainers, and Users ensure that the data provided to Lugar Lanar is accurate and complies with data protection laws. Data processing is conducted under Lugar Lanar’s Privacy and Cookies Policy.

Intellectual Property
All content on the Site is protected under intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited without permission from the rights holder.

Site Access
Lugar Lanar strives to make the Site accessible 24/7 but may suspend access for maintenance, security, or technical reasons without notice. No compensation or indemnity is provided for these interruptions.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These T&C and the relationship between Lugar Lanar, Sellers, Trainers, and Users are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes not resolved amicably will be submitted to Portuguese courts.
